Please note that filling out a form (and sending in money if you are a vendor or a sutler), is not a guarantee that you will receive permission to operate or re-enact.  Sutlers and Vendors applications are reviewed and approved by committee.  We also strive to insure, for example, that we do not end up with 25 sutlers all selling root beer.  You will receive notification when your application is accepted.

RULES FOR VISITORS TO THE SITE DURING THE REENACTMENT

Due to insurance, visitors need to adhere to the following rules during the reenactment:

1.  Horse riding by anyone other than a re-enactor properly registered to be on the site is prohibited.
             a.      Persons violating this will be removed from the site.
             b.      If they don't have the proper inoculation papers for their horses, they may be charged under Missouri State Law.

2.  Persons wearing Civil War attire purporting to be a re-enactor or a hawker, must have been previously registered with the MCWRA and/or Friends of Fort Davidson.  If not, they may be asked to leave or change clothing.

3.  ATV Riding by anyone not previously approved by the site administrator is prohibited!

4.  We have been informed that in the past people have plugged into electric and shared it with someone who paid for the service.  As the historic site pays for the electric in support of this event, anyone found doing so, will unplugged from power.  If found to be hooked up again, you will be directed to leave the event.
